Whiskey-Glazed Chicken Drumettes recipeIngredients:1 cup ketchup
½ cup barbeque sauce
¼ cup whiskey
¼ cup hot pepper sauce
¼ cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 to 4 pounds chicken drumettes
Ranch sauce, for serving Preparation Instructions:1) Combine ketchup, barbecue sauce, whiskey, pepper sauce, onion, sugar, and salt in a food processor; puree until smooth.
2) Place chicken in a large casserole dish. Pour ketchup mixture over chicken; mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
3) Preheat oven to 400°F. Place chicken drumettes in a single layer on a wire rack set over a foil-lined baking sheet. Baste remaining marinade over drumettes.
4) Bake 35 to 45 minutes, until cooked through and slightly browned. Serve with ranch sauce. Notes about this recipe:Bewarethese drumettes are not for the faint of heart!
